HF Blackcap May 329

This Firesteel heifer really has us excited. Since arriving from Holt Farms, she has exploded in our environment. She is as deep bodied, wide based, easy fleshing heifer as we have ever had.

Her phenotype is no surprise in the Blackcap May line, but what is interesting is her marbling. She is a 1 on marbling and is over 100 on dollar M. This set of data on a fantastic pedigree makes her unique.

HF Everelda Entense 323

This own daughter of Gibson is all kinds of good. She was one of the standouts in the entire breed for her spring weaned crop of heifers contemporaries born in the fall of 23. She is as deep bodied, big ribbed, big hipped as you will find of a heifer her age. She is from the great Everelda Entense family and traces back to 1137. Her growth EPDs also make her one of the top performing Gibson's in the breed.

Baldridge Gibson

ATM Lucy 493

We always have wanted to get into the famous Lucy cow line  made famous from Basin. This female is a direct daughter of the famous donor at Myers Angus Dalton's Lucy 393. She is also a direct daughter of Baldridge Gibson. She came to us from ATM farm. We are very excited for her future.

To the right is her maternal sister who sold to 44 farms for 60,000.

Myers/ATM Lucy 193

We are very excited about this own daughter of Lucy 393 as well. We are fortunate to have two own daughters of the great cow. Pictured is 193 with her first calf that is a heifer out of Commerce. This calf has checked a lot of boxes for us on phenotype and genotype.

Pictured right is Lucy 393. The dam of both 493 and 193.

Revelation 26

An own daughter of KCF Acclaim from ABS, tracing back to our foundation Revelation donor. She is dark burgundy with a nice udder. She already has a story with her first natural calf selling as a 17 month old for 4,600 dollars at the 2025 Lexington Sale. The top bull that sold in his age division. (Pictured right)

Butterfly 2531

A BJ Surpass daughter out of the outstanding Butterfly Donor M768 pictured to the right. M768 was purchased from Myers Angus for 15,000 by Middle Creek and has sold over 50K in progeny and embryos. We bought this heifer private treaty from MCA as a weaned heifer. She had a very heavy heifer weaning weight as a calf and she over time has developed a nice wedge shape. Over 110 M dollar and over 300 C makes her a unique read on paper. Two full siblings to 2531 have already sold for 10,500 and 7,000.

ATM Queen 443

This outstanding Deer Valley Optimum daughter out the Myers Queen line at Myers Angus and ATM farms is a wonderfully structured bred heifer. Pictured at the right is the longtime M197 Queen that worked for decades at both of these programs. Known for their nice structure, great feet, and impeccable udders, she has a bright future at Sturgeon Creek.

Sturgeon Creek Earlybird 1

This own daughter of Poss Winchester checks a lot of boxes for us. She is out of the 12,000 dollar Goode Early Bird 8856 female whose granddaughter also out of Winchester brought 21,000 dollars in 2023. We know it can be difficult to be a large C dollar female and still have the deep ribbed shape, but this female does that.

ATM Kem

Sturgeon Creek Stella SCW1

A fascinating young bred female for Sturgeon Creek. She is a Veracious on a Stellar female. Yes, a unique combination. We lost her dam way too soon due to metal. But her dam was one of the highest marbling Stellar's in the whole breed. This female hit a lot of extreme carcass trait epds. At 377 C dollar, she is the highest C dollar animal to ever be born at Sturgeon Creek. Now, we don't breed for extremes, so future matings for her will be more Maternally balanced in nature. Nevertheless, a unique female in the making.
