This foundation Hereford donor out of Reliable 3018 has left her mark on our program. She has already given us 3 outstanding daughters and 3 tremendous herd bulls. Her 2nd natural born calf raised the top selling lead-off Hereford bull in the Kentucky Hereford Association Sale in 2024.
Maybe her most impressive quality is her fertility. She has been an extremely potent embryo producer.
Along with the quantity has been the stickiness of her embryos. To this point they have been taken by recips cows at a 90 percent rate. We do have a few embros availabe out of this tremedous donor. If you have an interest feel free to reach out.

She is off to a racing start with 21 embryos on her second flush and her first natural calf is one of the most unique genetic profiles in the entire angus' breed. This first calf by her is in a group with 4 other females in the entire breed with the combination of CED, WW, YW,HP,Marb, and M dollar.
This female 1310, is one of the biggest boned, deep ribbed females with a moderate frame as you will see. Her docility is as good as it gets, and her heel depth is exactly what you look for.

8856
Early Bird 8856 from Goode Angus was purchased as a heifer. She has been a very fertile female and an extraordinary embryo producer. She has had multiple conventional flushes with over 20 viable embryos. She traces back to the legendary 2536 Blackcap Cow at Gardiner. She is very interesting because of her phenotype mixed with top 1 percent marbling. That is something that you don't see a lot in the angus breed today. Bosting over a 200 Beef dollar and over 300 C, this female has already raised a 21,000 granddaughter out of Poss Winchester. She has another outstanding Winchester daughter on the farm that is as deep ribbed as you will see on a high C dollar female.

Henrietta Pride 0445 came to us from Holt Farm in Tennessee in their production sale. This young female has already had a flush of over 20 embryos and her natural calves are standouts. She is a tremendous milker, incredibly docile, and very deep bodied. Her first direct daughter brought 5700 at public auction. We were always interested in finding a quality female in the 643T line. The pedigree placement on this pedigree is tremendous.

Ruby 56
This Patriarch daughter is one of the stoudest made but very femine fronted cows you'll see in the breed. From the Ruby family made famous at 44 farms, she is a great granddaughter of the great Ruby 7130 donor. To the right is her first natural calf by Tehema Tahoe. This female also carries as nice of and udder on a young female as we have seen. Pictured below is a picture of when she was a calf.

This young donor was purchased as a weaned heifer calf in Texas. Since arriving at Sturgeon Creek she has been a massive producer whether be by natural progeny or embryo transfer. She has produced embryos at an astonishing rate and her performance has been at the top. As a first calf heifer, (Pictured to the right) she raised this Horizon son with a 758-pound adjusted weaning weight without creep feed. In our environment of southeastern Kentucky, without creep feed this is a very impressive first calf. Embryos are available. Below are two full sib Craftsman daughters and a son of Patriarch.

Abigale 013G is today's ideal angus cow. This female is a cow in our herd you never notice. Why? Because she never casues problems. She is alwasy in the same body condition score no matter the season. She has a textbook udder and grows one of the top calves each year.
If you notice to the right, she has a couple traits that make her extremely unique. She is one of the only dams in the whole breed that have this RDG and DMI combination. This means her conversion of feed to pounds gained are as efficient as it gets. She is a Foretress daughter and a maternal granddaughter of the famous Abigale 001 that was made famous at Boyd Beef not only in the show ring but also in the pasture.
